Randy Samuel

Randy Samuel is a former Canadian Men’s National Team player and current Lead Coach of the Freedomball Soccer Program. He earned 82 caps for Canada between 1983 and 1997, playing every match at the 1986 FIFA World Cup and helping Canada capture the 1985 CONCACAF Championship and the 1990 North American Nations Cup. At the club level, Randy enjoyed a distinguished professional career across Canada, Europe, and the United States, with teams including PSV Eindhoven, FC Volendam, Fortuna Sittard, Port Vale, and Harstad IL. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching with various clubs and academies in Canada, bringing over 30 years of experience developing and mentoring young players in British Columbia’s Lower Mainland.
